Update Your Air Conditioning Service with the Austin Energy Rebate Program
May 12, 2015 | James
The city of Austin has set up an Appliance Efficiency Program (AEP), where you can receive a rebate after installing a qualified energy-efficient air conditioning system. If your AC is over 10 years old, or noisy and underperforming, a new energy-efficient air conditioning system can create a noticeably more comfortable environment for your home while using up to 40% less energy.
“Austin Energy requires that you use a City of Austin-registered contractor to qualify for this rebate. Your Registered Contractor can help you choose the right equipment for your home. Registered Contractors also meet Austin Energy requirements for licensure, insurance, workmanship, and equipment.”
And the rebates don’t stop with your air conditioning system! The AEP offers rebates for a variety of improvements such as adding attic insulation, solar shading or upgraded windows, repairing air ducts, and many more. You can review them all at http://bit.ly/1yoW4x2
